Writing and publishing your book has never been easier!
Everyone has a book in them, you agree? Perhaps you've been called a wordsmith before and you quietly keep journals at home with the idea that someday you'll finally set the time to write about your life story. Maybe you want to gift your life story in the form of a book with those you love, or simply, you feel called to share a message with the world through a book.
That is exactly how I felt before I decided to write my book. After years of dreaming about becoming an author, I decided to make a commitment and write the book and go the self-publishing route.
Breathe Publishing Inc.'s Anxious Mom, Anxious Child: A Mother's Journey from Anxiety to Serenity is available on Amazon, Kindle and BarnesandNoble.com, and it has been featured on podcasts and specialized media across the United States.
Why nonfiction aspiring authors should write a book
Aspiring authors choose to write a book for many reasons. There is the obvious reason why you should write a book: You have a story that is ready to be released! However, this is not the only reason why you should write a book.
Beyond sharing your message with the world, a book can help you boost your business. If you've felt inclined to learn more about how you can write a book, you are not a lone. The options to publish your book are many: from the type of book and the format, to the route you should pursue in terms of publishing your work. These are some of the questions that I explore with my clients in my program: Get inspired and write your book.
Get inspired and write your book
Writing your book doesn't have to be so complicated. If you have a message that you want to share with the world, you should explore this idea further.
Below are the most recent reviews from my book coaching program:
"Before starting work with Ada I did not feel as confident in my written work. I was unsure in the direction that I wanted to go into as I put forth together my ideas in order to make the idea of my book possible. Another challenge that I faced is that I did not know the sequential order of how I wanted to put the chapters of my book. The third challenge that I faced is that I did not know how to make an outline for my book. Even though I had an idea of what I wanted to write, the fact that Ada helped put together an outline template for my book gave me a firmer foundation in how to get started and write it, from the beginning to the end.
Now is the time
There has never been a better time to self-publish a book. Breathe Publishing, Inc. was born from the desire of writing and publishing my book on my own terms, designing a plan for its content, working on a cover design, and owning the rights to the content. It helps to know a thing or two about marketing communications and public relations strategy. With over 17 years experience in marketing communications including work for global brands like CNN and CDC, I've blended my skills in communication strategy with my life coaching work set the desire of writing a book on fire in the heart of my clients.
These are some of the reasons why I find the process of self-publishing exciting and fun. I want to help other aspiring authors do the same. If you are reading this, maybe self-publishing is for you.
